The Vakantie Festival can once again add two special travel providers to the field of participants: Cape Tracks and Beluga Adventures. Both brands, led by owners Ramon Lucas and Esther Baas, bring their expertise and passion for unique, adventurous trips to the first edition from 5 to 7 February in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Ramon sees the festival as a great opportunity: “With Cape Tracks, we focus on trips to Southern Africa and Northern Europe, where nature, culture and customization are central. Beluga Adventures focuses on polar trips and adventures in special destinations. At the Holiday Festival, we want to take visitors into these diverse, but always impressive travel worlds.”
Esther adds: “The direct contact with the traveller is very important to us. The festival provides a perfect environment to answer questions, provide inspiration and show how diverse our offerings are – from safaris in Namibia to expeditions in Antarctica.”
Frits Kuijper (co-founder of the Vakantie Festival) is enthusiastic about the addition: “With these two brands, we add a wealth of knowledge and experience in completely different areas of the travel industry. From hot to cold, from desert to polar ice – it is this diversity that makes the festival exciting and inspiring for our visitors.”
T.J. van Apeldoorn (co-founder of the Vakantie Festival), fully agrees: “Cape Tracks & Beluga Adventures show how wide the world of travel is. Their participation once again confirms our ambition to let visitors discover not only destinations, but also unique forms of travel that you don’t find everywhere.”
The Holiday Festival will take place in the spring of 2026 and brings together destinations, travel companies and travel lifestyle brands in an inspiring festival atmosphere full of experience, advice and entertainment.
