The Holiday Festival can add a tropical and musical top destination to its list of participants: the Jamaica Tourist Board has confirmed its participation in the first edition of the event in the spring of 2026 in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Hans van Wamel (representative of the Jamaica Tourist Board) sees the festival as the ideal way to present the island: “Jamaica is more than sun and beaches, it is an island full of rhythm, culture, gastronomy and adventure. The Holiday Festival offers us the opportunity to share all these facets directly with a travel-loving audience. The atmosphere and set-up fit perfectly with the energy of Jamaica.”
The Jamaica Tourist Board wants to take visitors through the diversity of the island during the festival, from reggae and rum to mountains and waterfalls, and show that Jamaica has something to offer for every traveler.
Frits Kuijper (co-founder of the Vakantie Festival) is proud of this addition: “Jamaica is a destination that immediately evokes a smile and we want to convey that same feeling in our festival atmosphere. This will be a colorful and energetic eye-catcher for our visitors.”
T.J. van Apeldoorn (co-founder of the Holiday Festival) agrees: “It is fantastic that a globally known destination like Jamaica expresses its confidence in us. Their participation confirms that the Holiday Festival offers a unique and valuable stage. We look forward to working together to create an unforgettable Jamaica experience for our visitors.”
The Holiday Festival will take place in the spring of 2026 and brings together destinations, travel companies and travel lifestyle brands in an inspiring festival atmosphere full of experience, advice and entertainment.
