From 5 to 7 February 2026, the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch will be the setting for the very first edition of the Holiday Festival, the new travel lifestyle event in the Netherlands where destinations, travel organizations and travel lifestyle brands come together in an inspiring festival atmosphere full of experience, advice and entertainment.
One of the participants is Staatsloterij, represented by Styles Concepts, which connects with the festival idea of dreaming, discovering and looking ahead with surprising activations and brand experience.
Dreams, happiness and travel come together
For many Dutch people, the State Lottery is inextricably linked to the idea of dreams and opportunities. At the Holiday Festival, the State Lottery shows how that feeling of expectation and pleasure fits perfectly with travel and holidays. With an accessible and playful presence, Staatsloterij invites visitors to reflect on what happiness and dreams mean to them, especially in the prospect of new journeys and experiences.
The participation fits in with the broader festival experience, in which inspiration is not only in destinations, but also in emotion, surprise and the pleasure of making plans. In this way, the State Lottery contributes to the lively atmosphere on the festival floor and offers visitors a moment of wonder among all the travel stories. “Travel and dreams are close to each other,” says Ellen Hamer of Styles Concepts. “Both are about looking ahead, wishing and giving yourself something. At the Holiday Festival, we want visitors to experience that feeling, in a way that is light, positive and accessible.”
A playful layer within the festival concept
According to Frits Kuijper, creative director of the Holiday Festival, the State Lottery adds a recognizable and energetic element to the event. “They bring surprise and emotion to the festival floor. That playful, optimistic feeling fits perfectly with the atmosphere we want to create and provides a nice variety within the program.” T.J. van Apeldoorn, strategic director of the Holiday Festival, also sees the participation as a substantive reinforcement of the whole.
