With the confirmed participation of Yacht Cruise Company, the Holiday Festival gains a distinctive player in the cruise industry. The provider of small-scale Boutique Cruises will be present in the Brabanthallen in the spring of 2026 to bring the unique world of Small Ship Cruises to the attention of a wide audience. They will be with a selection of their partners.
Simone Boon (founder and Executive Manager of Yacht Cruise Company), sees the festival as an excellent opportunity: “Our mission is to show travelers that cruising can also be small-scale, personal and intimate. Small Ship Cruises offer a completely different experience than the large ships: with more space, attention and access to special ports. The Holiday Festival is the place to get that message across and inspire new target groups.”
Yacht Cruise Company represents a carefully selected range of 4- to 6-star Small Ship Cruises, sailing along iconic coasts and lesser-known gems, with a focus on comfort, culture and personal service.
T.J. van Apeldoorn (co-founder of the Vakantie Festival) welcomes the participation with great enthusiasm: “Simone and her team really add something unique to the festival. Small Ship Cruises are still relatively unknown to the general public, but fit perfectly with the need for quality, small scale and experience. Exactly what we want to show at the Holiday Festival.”
Co-founder Frits Kuijper also sees a lot of value in the addition: “We strive for a wide and diverse range, from adventurous to exclusive. Yacht Cruise Company shows that cruising does not have one form. Their presence enriches the festival and offers visitors a special view of what traveling by ship can also mean.”
The Holiday Festival will take place in the spring of 2026 in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The event brings together travel organizations, destinations and travel lifestyle brands in an inspiring festival atmosphere full of experience, advice and entertainment.
