ANVR joins growing Holiday Festival

Support for the Holiday Festival continues to grow. Now that trade association ANVR is also committing itself to the event as an official partner, it underlines the broad recognition for the initiative within the travel industry. The first edition of the Holiday Festival will take place in the spring of 2026 in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Frank Radstake, director of the ANVR, emphasizes the importance of the initiative: “The Holiday Festival is in line with the need of our sector to come into contact with the consumer in a fresh and contemporary way. We see this as a valuable addition to the existing landscape and wholeheartedly support the initiative. It is good to see that there is room for innovation and cooperation within the travel industry.”

T.J. van Apeldoorn, co-founder of the Vakantie Festival, is pleased with the collaboration: “The fact that the ANVR as a trade association supports the festival is a strong signal for us. It confirms once again that we are not only building something new, but also something that is supported by the sector itself. That support is indispensable.”

Frits Kuijper, co-founder, also responds enthusiastically: “We are very happy with the involvement of the ANVR. Their platform and network only make our plans stronger. This collaboration helps us to further deepen and broaden the festival, also on themes such as responsible travel and consumer confidence.”

The Holiday Festival will take place in the spring of 2026 and brings together destinations, travel companies and travel lifestyle brands in an inspiring festival atmosphere full of experience, advice and entertainment.
