Sawadee Travel present at Holiday Festival 2026

The field of participants of the Holiday Festival continues to expand: Sawadee Reizen has also confirmed that it will participate in the first edition from 5 to 7 February 2026 in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The travel organization, which has been a specialist in adventurous group travel worldwide for decades, is thus joining the festival’s growing line-up.

Manon van Dijk (Event & retail coordinator at Sawadee) sees the festival as an opportunity to meet the traveller directly: “Sawadee stands for real travel: getting in touch with the local population, discovering special places and experiencing the world together. The Holiday Festival gives us the opportunity to share those stories in person with a curious audience. We look forward to inspiring visitors and taking them along in the energy of our travels.”

Frits Kuijper (co-founder of the Holiday Festival) thinks the addition is an enrichment for the festival: “Sawadee brings adventure, experience and group feeling to the festival. Their presence makes it clear that with us you not only get information, but are also stimulated to go outside your comfort zone. That is exactly what makes the festival surprising and inspiring.”

T.J. van Apeldoorn (co-founder of the Vakantie Festival) emphasizes the strategic value of this participation: “Sawadee is an established name with a loyal following and a wide audience that they appeal to. Their choice to join our festival confirms that we are building a platform that appeals to both the big, adventurous players and the more specialized brands. That makes our offer increasingly rich and diverse.”

The Holiday Festival will take place in the spring of 2026 and brings together destinations, travel companies and travel lifestyle brands in an inspiring festival atmosphere full of experience, advice and entertainment.
